GPS RECEIVERS ("MICE")
A GPS receiver and antenna integrated into a weatherproof housing is someteimes known as a "GPS mouse" because of the visual resemblance. The data output is in a standardised format (usually NMEA) via a USB or RS-232 interface.  It can be connected to a laptop or pocket PC with appropriate software to form a complete tracking, navigation or logging system.
