TecSys supplies PCMCIA linear flash cards from the manufacturer Pretec.
Linear flash cards contain flash chips without a controller. The flash chips are addressed directly.
Attention! Linear PCMCIA cards can automatically switch between 8-bit mode and 16-bit mode in accordance with the standard.
As of August 2017 however, only cards that are EITHER 16-bit OR 8-bit capable will be produced.

It is important to know exactly which flash chip is in the card, and whether the card is with or without attribute memory.
The cards can be delivered either for 0°C ~ 70°C or with an extended temperature range -40°C ~ +85°C.
To read or write these linear flash cards from the PC, it is best to use an Omnidrive USB LF drive
